WHO IT'S FOR

Does this situation sound familiar?

Data-side inquiries typically start from one of the situations below. If you recognize any of them, it's probably worth having a conversation.

It makes sense to choose us if…

  • Reports don't add up — finance, operations, and sales each give a different number for the same question.
Decisions become uncertain, and reconciliation takes up a lot of time.
  • Too much manual data work — daily exports, merges, manual checks.
At each month-end close, controlling spends half a week on this alone, with constant corrections needed due to errors.
  • Systems don't talk to each other — a customer's or product's data exists in 3–4 systems, slightly differently in each.
It's impossible to tell which one tells the truth.
  • Facing a data migration — ERP replacement, merger, system modernization, and data needs to be moved.
Data loss or inconsistency can cause serious business damage. An experienced partner is essential.
  • A BI project or data warehouse is coming up — a serious BI system needs to be launched, or the existing one is no longer holding up.
Someone needs to think through the architecture and tool selection before developers sit down to work.
  • Stable data is needed for a project — an AI pilot or digitalization project is starting, and it turns out the data isn't of sufficient quality.
A quality assessment, cleansing, and structuring is needed before anything meaningful can be built on top of it.

Does any of these sound familiar — or are you not sure yet where you stand?

We’ll figure out together whether our profile fits your problem.

When is it not worth reaching out to us?

  • If it's a small, well-contained data problem (e.g., organizing a few Excel tables) — this doesn't match our level in terms of time or price.
  • If you're only looking for a tool recommendation (e.g., "which BI platform should we choose") without prior context — we start from operations, not from the tool.
  • If the problem has already been thoroughly solved by another consultant and you're only looking for an implementer — we're open to it, but here it's better to start with a specific RFP, not a consultation.
PROCESS

The phases of real projects — where are you now?

Data projects vary in depth, so they can begin at different phases. We'll start together in one of the 3 typical phases below — depending on where your situation stands. During the consultation, we'll decide together which one to enter first.

01
1–3 weeks, fixed or scope-dependent pricing

Assessment — Where are you now?

When it's not yet clear what the exact problem is, or where the biggest stakes lie. Together we map the current data situation and define what's worth investing time and money in.

02
3–8 weeks, project-dependent pricing

Concept & Plan — What to build and how?

When you know what you want (data migration, data warehouse, master data management, etc.) but a detailed plan needs to be put together before development begins. Architecture, tool selection, timeline, resource requirements.

03
Project-dependent, typically on a months-to-years timeline

Implementation — We build it

Building the plans. Data migration execution, data warehouse construction, reporting systems, master data harmonization, data quality improvement — in a live environment, with live data.

Tell us where you stand — we'll tell you what we'd do.

30 minutes, no obligation. By the end of the consultation, it will be clear whether it's worth working together.

AREAS WHERE WE ARE STRONG

Specific areas where we have experience

Data projects touch many specialties. The list below covers the areas where we have implementation experience — over 15+ years and 200+ projects.

ETL pipelines, data integration, and transformation across enterprise systems. Connecting disparate data sources into a unified, analysis-ready foundation — in batch or real-time.

Data quality assessment, cleansing, and rule framework design. Data governance model, data steward roles, accountability framework setup — so your data is actually trustworthy.

Data warehouse construction and modernization. BI tool integration (Oracle BI, Power BI, custom solutions). NAV data warehouse modernization. Clear dashboards and reports for data-driven decisions.

Resolving master data duplications, harmonizing master data across multiple systems. SAP MDM, custom solutions. BKM SAP master data project experience.

System-to-system data migration without data loss — in banking, public sector, and enterprise environments. Sberbank → MBH transition, ERP replacements, merger integrations.

Oracle version upgrades from 9i to 19c, Exadata implementation and performance tuning, replication, backup strategy. Project experience at the level of NAV, ORFK, and the Hungarian State Treasury.

WHAT HAPPENS AFTER THE CONSULTATION

After the consultation, we'll tell you honestly what the next step is

30 minutes is not enough for a detailed proposal. The goal is to understand your situation together and make the logical next step clear.

Three typical outcomes

  • We can provide a proposal right away. If the problem is well-defined and familiar, and there's enough context for proposal-level pricing — you'll receive the detailed proposal within 1–2 weeks.
  • A shorter preparatory phase is needed. If the situation requires deeper exploration before a meaningful proposal can be made, we suggest a short, fixed-price discovery phase (1–3 weeks, typically 3,000–8,000 EUR + VAT, depending on scope). This will make it clear what to do, in what sequence, and at what cost.
  • We'll honestly tell you if we're not the right fit. If the problem doesn't match our professional strengths, or the scale isn't our level — we'll say so openly. A brief consultation won't be wasted on your side either, because at minimum it will be clear which direction to go next.
  • You don't have to buy a Data project from us after the consultation. But you'll know whether it's worth it — and how.

WHY US

Why is it worth talking to us?

Many companies take on data projects. What sets us apart is that we don’t start from the tool — we start from the operation. And the same team that assessed the problem sees it through to delivery. The tool follows from that.

OUR METHODOLOGICAL FOUNDATION

We start from operations, not from tools

The question isn’t “Oracle or Postgres” or “Power BI or Tableau.” The question is where the data need arises in the operation, and what’s the most effective way to answer it. The tool follows from that — not the other way around.

We're not here to sell — we're here to find the right work

If the problem doesn’t fit our professional profile, we say so openly. The goal of the consultation is to find out whether it’s worth working together — not to close a contract at all costs.

The same team handles implementation

If we go through the assessment / concept / implementation phases together, the same professional team carries it through. You don’t need to hand off data, context, and organizational knowledge to a different provider halfway through.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What leaders ask most often.

Because Data projects rarely fit into a fixed-price box. The size of a data migration, the complexity of a data warehouse architecture, the scope of a master data project can vary by 10x from project to project. A fixed price on the website would either be too low (and we’d have to correct it afterward) or too high (and we’d scare off realistic projects). We’d rather give an honest number after a free consultation.

Range: from a few thousand euros (a short data quality assessment) to tens of thousands of euros (concept and detailed plan) or hundreds of thousands of euros (full data migration or data warehouse project). After the consultation, we can give a more precise estimate within that range.

After the consultation, we can typically prepare the proposal (or the proposed preparatory phase scope) within 1–2 weeks. Actual project kick-off is 2–6 weeks from contract signing — depending on scope size and where your internal decision process stands.

Banking and finance, public and government sector, telecommunications, energy, utilities, logistics and urban management. We’ve also worked in the industrial and manufacturing sector, but that’s not our primary area. During the consultation, we’ll check whether we have industry-specific experience relevant to your project.

No. Oracle is a strong area for us (14 years, 100+ projects), but we also work in Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL, SAP HANA, and cloud database environments (AWS, Azure). Tool selection always follows from the specific project context.

During the consultation, we don’t access your data — it’s a conversation about your situation, not data processing. If we later work together on a project, we sign a non-disclosure agreement (NDA), and the data is used exclusively within the scope of the engagement.

Send a short email — the contact form works too. We respond within 1–2 business days. If the question is short and specific, a consultation isn’t needed.
