Client Description
Las Vegas Casino Zrt. operates several casinos in Budapest, offering a variety of games such as slot machines, card games, and roulette. In addition to their online casino services, players also have the option to engage in online sports betting. It is one of Hungary’s largest casino operators, attracting both local and international guests. The company plays an important role in the country’s entertainment industry and operates under government licenses with strict regulations.
Project General Description
The growing volume of data in the sports betting industry, coupled with tightening regulatory frameworks, presents new challenges for service providers. We introduce an innovative solution that combines the latest cloud-based technologies with full compliance to legal requirements. This system not only enables efficient data processing but also ensures complete adherence to the reporting obligations mandated by regulatory authorities.

Challenge
The main objective of the project was the real-time processing, analysis, and presentation of a large volume of sports betting data from various source systems through a predefined report.
For data storage and management, the choice was made to use Delta Lakehouse technology based on the client’s requirements. This modern solution combines the structured data management of traditional data warehouses with the flexibility and scalability of data lakes. Delta Lakehouse allows for the simultaneous storage and analysis of structured and unstructured data, simplifying the handling of complex sports betting data.
Despite the billions of records of sports betting data, the system must be capable of providing extremely low response times during report execution.
The project required close collaboration with international partners and service providers to ensure its success. As part of this collaboration, we developed common data formats and communication protocols that enable seamless data exchange among partners operating in different countries.
How we helped?
- Data Source Identification A rendszer különböző forrásokból képes adatokat fogadni, beleértve a sportfogadási szolgáltatók API-jait, történeti adatbázisokat és külső adat szolgáltatókat.
- Data Collection RabbitMQ segítségével valós idejű adatfolyamokat fogadunk, biztosítva a folyamatos és megbízható adatáramlást a sportfogadási szolgáltatóktól.
- Processing Az Apache Spark klaszter lehetővé teszi a nagy adatmennyiségek párhuzamos feldolgozását, biztosítva a rendszer skálázhatóságát és teljesítményét.
- Storage A Delta Lake technológia alkalmas strukturált és strukturálatlan adatok tárolására, verziókezelést biztosítva, és garantálva az ACID tranzakciós tulajdonságokat.
- Analysis and Reporting Az Azure SQL rétegen keresztül komplex lekérdezések és elemzések végezhetők, lehetővé téve a pontos és naprakész riportok előállítását a szabályozó hatóságok számára.
