The National Tax and Customs Administration (NAV) implemented a significant technological upgrade in its data warehouse infrastructure by introducing the Exadata X7 platform. The EKÁER (Electronic Road Freight Control System) is a system introduced by the NAV (National Tax and Customs Administration) that serves to monitor and control road freight traffic. Its aim is to reduce fictitious invoicing and tax evasion, particularly during the transportation of high-value goods. The system allows the tax authority to carry out real-time checks on domestic and international freight shipments, contributing to the reduction of tax avoidance and the maintenance of market competition.
